The Blue Bridge

Ursula Reuter Christiansen - The Blue Bridge
The Blue Bridge was exhibited at the Biennale of Venice in 2001
in the Danish pavilion. The artist, Ursula Reuter Christiansen, orginally born in Germany, moved to Denmark back in 1969 &
has been a pupil of Joseph Beuys at the Duesseldorf Academy.
This imposing bridge is about 14 meters in length & is made of a steel frame on which heavy cobalt blue glass tiles are positioned.

The overall effect is surprisingly beautiful and it changes dramatically according to the amount and direction of daylight.
