Phan Gia Huong
Born at Ban Phay village, Vietnam, in 1951 Phan Gia Huong, is one of the few women sculptors who still "stands fast" to occupy a noteworthy position in Vietnamese contemporary sculpture. Graduated at Hanoi Institute of Fine Arts in 1977, and post graduate in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Huong's sculptural language is truly rich, showing an original, vigorous and elegant style. She works with different materials (stone, bronze, wood, steel, scraps) and different techniques.
Phan Gia Huong has received several awards and recognitions for her works. At the present she is working as a self-employed artist and has organized her own little sculpture garden near Saigon.
