Giovanni Ginestroni
Giovanni Ginestroni was born in Padova in 1961 on Christmas day.
He lives and works now in Terranuova Bracciolini in Tuscany.
Ginestroni has been keen on art since he was a boy. Firstly he
realised bas reliefs and then moved to three dimensional works.
With an aunt who was a painter as a guide, he visited lots of
exhibitions and
museums as a child.
An important turning point in his life has been the exhibition of
Henry Moore in 1972 in Florence.
Ginestroni uses several media like terracotta, wood, iron and bronze.
He took part to solo exhibitions in Milan, Barcelona and recently in Los Angeles. Besides being a sculptor Ginestroni is also a designer.
